Honor Flight Receives National Media Attention Springfield, OH. The Honor Flight Network (HFN), headquartered in Springfield, OH was featured on a national news broadcast. NBC News National Correspondent Janet Shamlian accompanied the first flight of 2008 from the Dayton International Airport on April 19, 2008. NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams aired the story last Friday. It can be found at NBC on the web. It was the last segment of “Making a Difference.” Segments from the broadcast will be used to recognize Honor Flight at the White House News Photographers Annual Awards Dinner on May 10th.
