Myron Nolish from California and his grandaughter Becky were at the WWII Memorial this weekend with Jim McLaughlin. It’s nice to see these generations together and to bear witness to the love that prompted these two to travel together.
And speaking of love…Also at the Memorial this weekend were husband and wife in uniform Belle and Joe Keough from Franklin Co Honor Flight. According to Joe: “We had a great time and loved every minute, especially the care we ‘were given by the guardians. And Belle, she was treated like a queen. She will be on cloud nine for many weeks”. Belle was a Seargeant, served 1944 – 1946; Joe seved in the Army, 1942-1945, participated in the Normandy landing and the Battle of the Bulge.
