During the Fourth of July, the Park Service had erected a fence where the luncheon tents are normally located at the WWII Memorial. Our thanks to the rangers and the maintainence crew from the National Park Service who made sure it was moved so we had room for the tents. They worked through the afternoon heat on Friday afternoon getting the area ready and my hat is off to them. It was a good thing as the only sensible folks were dipping their feet in the fountains.
