Chicago Honor Flight’s Documentary
From Mary Pettinato in Chicago:   “The Communications Committee is proud to announce that the documentary co-produced by Marty Kohr and Kimberly Grear and done by Don Pogany and Arturo Cubacub has been nominated for an EMMY tonight against stiff competition.   Thank you so much guys for your amazing attention to detail.” Okay…so everyone make sure their TV sets are tuned.  This would be very COOL!!!

From Pam Nichols and Amy McDonald in Birmingham, Alabama “Honor Flight Birmingham will be featured in the Birmingham News in tomorrow’s Birmingham Newspaper.”  This of course follows on their full color article in Celebrate Magazine which you can see reproduced on the WWII Memorial site.

Every Honor Flight has distinguished themselves by raising money and awareness and these are just two examples of the creativity which Honor Flight organizers have shown.  If you use Google Alerts for the term “Honor Flight”, you will see that there is a an incredible amount of media attention being showered upon Honor Flight.  Kudos to all!
