Mayor Dennis Waldrop and his wife Betty organized and helped raise money for the group from Greenville, South Carolina to visit the World War II Memorial. Nice to see a Mayor who cares so deeply about his community. A group of young boys were talking to the bugler Roland Sluder and their astonishment of his tales of fighting and being wounded in the Pacific was priceless.
