White House News Photographers Recognize Honor Flight

White House News Photographers, Honor Flight
1000 members and guests of the White House News Photographers arose to applaud Honor Flight and WWII Veterans Ed George and Al Dunn who were part of Earl Morse’s first flights in the small planes.

They are shown here with two young women who won first place as camerawomen in the Military Photographer of the Year Contest. Ed Eaves and Jon and Heidi Elswick of the WHNPA put together a touching six minute film on Honor Flight which was shown right in the middle of the program. Seeing Al and Ed, our vets with these two brave young women was a beautiful moment. And you’ve never seen our Honor Flight folks looking so spiffy!! The dinner was held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel and is an annual gala to celeberate the Award Winning Work of WHNPA members as they travel the world. Adjutant In the bottom frame, Joe Pelagyi, Adjutant of the Military Order of the Purple Heart and WWII vet Al Dunn get together for a snap.
