World War II Memorial

As George Kerestes and I wandered through the crowds at the World War II Memorial today, he said “why that looks like General George Casey>” and sure enough, there he was with his family and no security chatting up veterans and getting ready to go a service across 17th Street for Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan veterans.

And 100 feet away was Earl Morse giving a good tour of the World War II Memorial to his group of caravaners. I have to say that after a couple of years, he’s getting pretty good at it. The Memorial continues to be an excellent place to let the world come to me.  And then…there was the RV…today’s photos are available at the site
