Speaking of Al Bailey and the Air Force, I got a call from Susan Rubel at the Air Force Association and AFA Veteran Benefits Association asking for books for their online store. They are also presenting the “Jewel of the Mall” book at a special discount for their members and it will go out as an email blast the week of April 3, 2008. The Air Force Memorial is the latest Memorial in the DC area and swoops above the city in graceful arches. The plaza, decorated with free standing testimonials to individual Air Force members has a commanding view of the Washington skyline.
