The Air Force Thunderbirds flew a “Missing Man Formation” over the thousands of men, women and relatives gathered at the Air Force Memorial today. I was lucky and managed to get this photograph with the complete formation and part of the Memorial.  There were at least a thousand people gathered on an absolutely glorious day overlooking Washington, DC.

Ms. Betty Stolfus, one of the honorees of the Congressional Gold Medal of Honor gave me the high sign and I had my picture for the day.  The images can be found on the photo site under the folder entitled WASPS.
