WWII Talks by Dan Arant at WWII Memorial

DWWII Memorialan Arant has been a National Park Service volunteer sine 1993 and serves at the Vietnam Memorial and the WWII Memorial.  His current topics are:  Pearl Harbor, Midway, and Iwo Jima.  Future planned topics are:  The Battle of the Atlantic, Japan’s Kamikaze Force, and the Surrener Ceremony on the USS Missouri. Each talk is supported by 8×10 photos prvided by the U.S. Naval Institute.  dan served in the Marine Corps Reserve, Navy Reserve, and active duty Navy, to include a year in Vietnam with the U.S. Naval Advisory Group.  He retired as a civilian from the Office of Naval Intelligence


When you are flying your hub in, you might want to contact Dan about his availability for a lecture.  Each lecture is twenty minutes. You will see him on the South side of the Memorial with boards of photographs lined up along the marble benches.
