Panning for Gold

Just when you feel you’ve taken every possible angle and image of the WWII Memorial (and I’ve made my share!), you stumble across another view.  Yesterday, we were let out of the cab at the front of the Memorial and wandered into this area overlooking the Plaza. The images are available on the studio archive and downloadable for personal use. Like most of Washington’s buildings and Memorials, the WWII Memorial is low and allows the sky to illuminate the beautiful granite construction.
